T.I. BIO

TI

T.I. (born Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr. on September 25th, 1980) is a Grammy Award winning rapper, songwriter, actor and CEO of Grand Hustle Records.  In 2001, T.I. released his debut album I'm Serious, along with the single of the same name, but it unfortunately did not bring the initial success he had hoped for.  Success came to T.I. with his 2003 platinum certified album, Trap Muzik, which contained singles such as "24's", "Be Easy" and "Rubberband Man".  T.I. continued his success with his third album Urban Legend, with a string of hit singles such as "Bring Em Out", "ASAP", "Motivation" and "You Don't Know Me".  In 2006, T.I. released his top-selling fourth album, King, which contained hits such as his Grammy Award winning "What You Know", "Why You Wanna", "Top Back" and "Live in the Sky" with Jamie Foxx.  In 2007, hit singles such as "Big Things Poppin' (Do It)", "You Know What It Is", "Touchdown" and "Hurt" were releases from his fifth album entitled T.I. vs. T.I.P.  It doesn't appear that T.I. will be slowing down anytime soon with the release of his highly anticipated 2008 album Paper Trail and chart-topping singles such as  "No Matter What", "Swing Ya Rag", "Whatever You Like" and "What Up What's Haapnin" and "Live Your Life" with Rihanna.  T.I. also has a burgeoning film career with roles in ATL (2006), American Gangster (2007) and the upcoming Takers (2010) with Chris Brown
