Natalie Portman (born June 9th, 1981) is a Harvard University educated, Golden Globe Award winning actress best known for her high-profile role as Padmé in the Star Wars Trilogy which included Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999), Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002) and Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005).  Back in 1994, audiences received their first glimpse of Natalie Portman's talent in the Luc Besson directed Leon The Professional.  This led to memorable performances in films such as Heat (1995), Beautiful Girls (1996) and Everyone Says I Love You (1996).  Natalie Portman always seems to involve herself in intelligent, thought-provoking projects alongside Hollywood's elite such as Anywhere But Here (1999) with Susan Sarandon, Cold Mountain (2003) with Nicole Kidman, and Closer (2004) with Jude Law.  Natalie Portman continued to show diversity in the movies she starred in from the Wes Anderson directed comedy, The Darjeeling Limited (2007) to the period romantic drama, The Other Boleyn Girl (2008).  In 2009, Natalie Portman played the role of "Grace Cahill" in the Jim Sheridan directed drama Brothers with Jake Gyllenhaal and the role of "Rifka" in the ensemble romantic drama New York, I Love You with Orlando Bloom and Shia LaBeouf.  Natalie Portman's current projects include the comedy Your Highness (2010) with James Franco and the much anticipated comic book adaptation of Thor (2011).
