Shortly after being discovered by A&M Records in 2002, Keyshia Cole (born October 15th, 1981) found herself on the soundtrack of the 2003 movie Biker Boyz with the track "Get Up". She would lend her voice once again to the 2004 movie Barbershop 2: Back in Business with the single "Never" with rapper Eve. In 2005, Keyshia Cole released her debut album, The Way It Is, with her first single being "I Changed My Mind". Keyshia Cole would follow up with the singles "(I Just Want It) To Be Over", "I Should Have Cheated", and "Love". In order to promote her new album, she starred in her own BET reality show "Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is" in 2006. Keyshia Cole's reality show returned for a second season in 2007 to coincide with her second album Just Like You. The first single on the album, "Let It Go" which featured Lil Kim and Missy Elliott, garnered Keyshia Cole her first number one ranking on Billboard's R&B chart. Other notable singles on the album include "Shoulda Let You Go" and "I Remember".  Keyshia Cole continues to set the trend in the R&B music world with her latest 2008 album A Different Me with the first released single "Playa Cardz Right".
